Hojicha Dark Roast is a single-origin tea with a rich, smoky, and naturally sweet flavor. As a roasted green tea, it is reddish brown and has a soothing earthy aroma. Before being harvested in June, the Hojicha Dark Roast tea leaves are grown in full sun. The leaves are then carefully steamed, rolled, dried, and roasted to create the rounded and full-bodied tea. The roasting process removes all bitterness and most of the caffeine, making Hojicha Dark Roast the perfect drink for late afternoons and evenings.
Prepare Hojicha Dark Roast by steeping 2 tablespoons in 250 ml of 90°C water for 15-30 seconds. Let cool slightly to experience the round and naturally sweet flavor.
