Also known as The Champagne of Hojicha, the smooth Hojicha Gold Roast is made from lightly roasted sencha grown in Kyoto, Japan. After being harvested early in the spring, the whole leaves are lightly steamed, rolled, dried, and roasted to create the well-rounded high grade roasted green tea. Hojicha Gold Roast tastes best warm or as a cold brew, and can be sipped on anytime as it is low in caffeine.
Prepare Hojicha Gold Roast by steeping 8 grams in 250 ml of 80°C (194°F) water for 30 seconds. Let cool slightly to best experience its subtle sweetness.
